We’ve been spotted… oh oh :) Alex Fuego has put a shout out to this blog and we’d like to say thanks for that. Although this blog exists primarily as a means for us to vent out to the universe, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t happy that others were reading our rants. Our hope is that others will “Get It” – a term found somewhere in Alex’s blog (which we’ll be using at some later point in our blog… if you don’t mind Alex).
To comment on the rest of Alex’s post… we agree with his tango friend, we too think that Gustavo & Giselle are full-on dancers of Nuevo Tango. That doesn’t mean that they can’t dance A.T., but they generally don’t… and we think they’re really ugly dancers. Oh no we didn’t?! Yes, they are extremely talented in their field of Nuevo…. but yuk, yuk, yuk!
Oh… and we totally understand FauxNuevo… This usually takes place in the privacy of our apartment when Jorge starts being a geek and mocking Nuevo dancers. He starts going crazy with the “moves” and I end up being on the verge of peeing my pants :)
